Week 3 - 2023 General Session

We’re three weeks in! A lot of meaningful legislation has already been passed, and I look forward to continuing to work with my colleagues over the next four weeks. You can follow along with the legislative process at le.utah.gov.

This week I passed HB224 - Outdoor Recreation Initiative out of the House. The bill creates the Recreation Coordinated Investment Initiative to increase organization and cooperation on state recreation projects. Click here to read the entire bill.

This week, the legislature celebrated Water Week. My colleagues and I are committed to passing policies that will increase water capacity, expand conservation efforts, prepare for future water needs, and enhance outreach efforts. Watch the video below to get more updates about my week.
