Week 6 - 2023 General Session
This week I passed H.B. 384 out of the House of Representatives. This bill provides consistent funding for outdoor recreation. There is no better place for outdoor recreation than Utah and I’m excited that this bill will provide steady investment in outdoor recreation to enhance and preserve outdoor experiences for future generations.
Here is a brief status update of all my bills going into the final week of the session:
H.B. Governors Committee on Employment of People with Disabilities Amendments - Passed both the House and Senate
H.B. 34 Boards and Commissions Amendments - Passed both the House and Senate
H.B. 42 Technology Commercialization Amendments - Passed both the House and Senate
H.B. 65 Division of Technology Services Amendments - Passed both the House and Senate
H.B. 176 Municipal Voting Methods Amendments - Awaiting House Standing Committee hearing
H.B. 224 Outdoor Recreation Initiative - Passed both the House and Senate
H.B. 235 Accessible Parking Spaces Amendments - Passed the House
H.B. 381 State Finance Review Commission Amendments - Passed the House
H.B. 384 Outdoor Recreation Infrastructure Amendments - Passed the House
H.B. 550 School Curriculum Requirements - Awaiting House Standing Committee hearing
